Harvest Time

With the great Scottish weather playing its part, as soon as we got the combine out, the rain started. Not to be held back though we have almost completed harvest, just another few dry days will see us to the end. We have whole cropped 32 hectares of Spring Barley which will be fed to our fat cattle over the winter and harvested 80 hectares of second cut silage which has filled our barn well.
The livestock has also gone well with all our organic lambs sold. We are also pleased to announce that we will shorty have our first batch of entirely home bred organic cattle, some of which will be available through Minick Butchers soon.
