Balcaskie Estate is owned by The Alexander Trust, a UK-domiciled trust held by two trustees: Thirdpart 2003 Ltd and Alfred Place Ltd.  This means the Legal owners of Balcaskie are Alfred Place Ltd and Thirdpart 2003 Ltd.  The Anstruther Family are the principle beneficiaries of the Trusts and live at Balcaskie.

Thirdpart 2003 Limited a Company incorporated under the Companies Acts (registered number 04852050) and having their Registered Office at 23/24 Alfred Place Ltd, London and Alfred Place Limited a Company incorporated under the Companies Acts (registered number 02782385) and having their Registered Office at 23/24 Alfred Place Ltd, London.

Community Council Parishes

Balcaskie Estate is situated mostly within the Carnbee and Arncroach Community Council area. The estate also has land within each of the following Community Council boundaries;

  • St Monans
  • Elie and Royal Burgh of Earlsferry
  • Royal Burgh of Pittenweem and District
  • Royal Burgh of Crail and District
  • Largoward and District.

Watten estate in Caithness is also under the same ownership and is situated in the parish of Watten.
