Local Community

With an active role in the local communities and the physical resource to lend a hand where possible, we are able to assist with a wide range of activities, from provision of premises and donations of Christmas trees to beach cleaning and tree planting. We also work closely with other local organisations, including Food From Fife and welcome any news or enquiries about local projects.

production and food tourism in Fife.

Dreel Burn Project

In 2022 the Anstruther Improvement Association (AIA) launched the ambitious Dreel Burn Project and created its vision for the future of the burn.

Royal Highland Education Trust (RHET)

In partnership with RHET, Balcaskie supports schools by providing
an opportunity to see where food comes from and how it fits into the
fabric of life in Fife and the East Neuk. Every year Balcaskie assists fellow
ENE member Gilston to host an open day welcoming over 250 children.

Beach Clean

We are surrounded by wonderful beaches in the East Neuk which play an important part in our eco-system of our area. Balcaskie are able to supply machinery to assist in the clean-up effort to ensure the local beaches are kept in the condition they deserve.
